Hi welcome to Ireland's Catholic Records' first blog post. We hope the insights gained from such tremendously useful records as the qualification rolls and convert rolls will be of interest to you, whether you are a casual observer, enthusiast, genealogist, or historian. This project has taken many years to produce, from transcribing the records, locating geographical reference points for many individuals mentioned, and creating visualisation and research guides to help you use this website. I hope that it proves useful to you whatever your interest in the records, and opens up new insights into the historical study of this period.
